I have been helping people overcome depression, low self esteem, anxiety and trauma for over 15 years.
My approach to therapy is to provide a safe and non judgemental space where you can share and discuss your difficulties.
My aim is to help you to break free of the vicious cycle of depression or anxiety.




CBT is a highly effective treatment for depression, anxiety, stress and trauma. It is based on the idea that how we feel is affected by our thoughts and our behaviours/responses. When we feel down or anxious we can get trapped in a vicious cycle where our thinking becomes more negative or anxious, we avoid more or do more to compensate but this can then leave us feeling worse.
In CBT we work towards understanding this cycle and learning how to break out of it.
EMDR is a specialist therapy that helps people process the memories of traumatic and difficult life events. We know that when a person goes through a traumatic event it can feel hard to move on from the event. You may feel affected by repeated memories of the event or the thoughts/feelings associated with the event. This can keep you feeling stuck and feeling anxious or down.
In EMDR we help you to process these difficult memories so you stop re living these images, thoughts or emotions.
